Styrofoam
EPS (Expanded Polystyrene) Styrofoam is a thermoplastic, closed-pore, thermal insulation material produced by inflating and interlocking polystyrene particles, and 98% of it consists of inert dry air.
Features and Advantages
- Provides high thermal insulation.
- The thermal conductivity group is 040.
- The thermal conductivity values do not change depending on the inflator gas and time.
- It is not fragile, styrofoam is resistant to pressure.
- There is no capillary water permeability.
- The thickness of the styrofoam does not get thinner over time, it remains constant.
- It is an environmentally friendly material and styrofoam does not harm the ozone layer.
- It has the feature of continuing its insulation duty throughout the life of the building.
- It is easy to apply and provides an economical system.
